RICHIE JAPAN TOUR MEMBER !!
I totally agree about the barbara walters interview.
She acted like she didn't know what to ask him she kept looking at her notes.
Did you see the weird look on his face when she was talking about his hair?
Silverdust, yes. Totally disappointing.
For U.S. Bon Jovi fans, "No Looking Back" will be released for rental on video on June 30.
Yes. I totally agree with Silverdust...
very disappointing that Barbara Walters just HAD to discuss the hair issue with JBJ.
There are definitely more important things to talk about with him ... more interesting too.
You would think that in the little air time she set aside for the folks she interviewed,
that she could and should have made the interview much more worthwhile ... at least for JBJ fans.
I am sure that after all these years with the "hair thing",
he has had enough already!!
Richie Sambora appeared yesterday (Sunday, May 24, 1998) at the B104 Listener Appreciation Concert at Union Park Terrace as part of the annual Mayfair in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
There were two opening acts -- Jennifer Dragon and her less-than-wisely-chosen cover of Aerosmith's "Pink" and the Rembrandts and the "Friends" song -- but while Richie's set was short, he was in great voice.
He took the stage a little after 2:00 p.m., and did a mix of US and Jovi songs, all acoustic: Made in America, Falling From Graceland, Prayer '94, Midnight Rider/Wanted, In It For Love, Hard Times Come Easy.
He was joking and laughing in between songs.
Richie wore faded black jeans, black boots, a dark blue t-shirt with a design and was clean shaven.
The lawn area where the concert was held was scattered with fans of the four different bands, and many of the Jovi fans from the mailing lists and from several different states -- Maryland, Ohio, New Jersey, New York, as well as western !
Pennsylvania and local fans -- were up front cheering for Richie.
Richie was headed for the K104 festival at Thunder Ridge Ski Mountain in Patterson, NY for another appearance there after 4:00 p.m.
At this time, these were his only two scheduled American shows.
Did anyone else find it completely dissapointing
that Barbra Walters talked more about Jon's hair than his music??????

Hi, there. I just saw 'Home Grown' that Jon acts as a bad guy.
Jon was not an important cast in the movie(kind of important), but he did great job!!
Two things--am i the only one who doesn't believe that is richie singing "long way around" and did anyone else notice that jbj doesn't wear his ring anymore?
I just got back from Germany after seeing Jon play in Mannheim.
It was the most AMAZING experience of my life!!!!
I was in the pit at the barrier infront of Bobby.
Jon played 2 of his new songs, Older and Hush- both sounded great.
He wore a blue jumper with black jeans and a leather jacket and looked GORGEOUS!
I just read that Jon gonna be on Barbara Walters called "6 to watch for" to be aired on 5/20/98 on ABC at 10:00 pm (EST).
Jon will be on the Barbara Walters special (ABC)on May 20 at 10pm EST. It's called "6 to watch".
Jon's 3rd realease movie "Homegrown" is coming to selected theaters on Friday,
5/8/98, I read in the newspaper yesterday!
