Hi Gangs!!
I saw them on TV last night.
They played "Next 100 Years", "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "It's My Life".
And It was great!! I was so excited!! but... They had a jam with Jap musicians
You give Love.....and It was awful and terrible bad jam session.
I heard a rumor about they pissed off Jon because of their skill level.
And he canceled the interview after that.
I agree with Jon.
They shouldn't play that one on TV.
Other 2 was really Great!! Can't wait to see them on July!

VIDEO for IT'S MY LIFE
VH-1 (US) has officially added IT'S MY LIFE to their play list and it is
slated for heavy rotation, which means you'll be seeing a lot of it once it
debuts... and it debuts on TUESDAY, MAY 30th during THE DAILY ONE show which
airs on VH-1 from 2:00pm-3:00pm (EST) The BEHIND THE MUSIC: BON JOVI
premieres on VH-1 on SUNDAY, JUNE 11th at 9:00 PM (but make sure to tune into
see a "preview" of the show earlier in the day at 11:00AM EST) - the whole band
is interviewed plus a few familiar faces... we'll just let it be a surprise
for you that night. BON JOVI are designated as VH-1's ARTIST OF THE MONTH for
the month of JUNE... so expect to see a lot of additional BON JOVI
incorporated into programming throughout the month. **For our foreign
friends, the decision to edit portions of the "It's My Life" video was not
the doing of the band, management, the director or the record label... each country's
TV standards and regulations varies and this needed to be done in order to
get the video aired in certain countries.

RADIO CONCERT
BON JOVI have been officially added to the KISS 2000 PARTY in DALLAS, TEXAS
on Friday, JUNE 9th. This is a WIN TICKETS ONLY show (even local listeners
can only attend if they've won tickets from the stations) and there are no
fan club tickets arrangements. BON JOVI is also playing radio concerts in
Boston, Providence, Charlotte, Kansas City and Indianapolis. Please remember,
these are multiple act bills so BON JOVI plays an abbreviated set and there
are no fan club ticketing arrangements.

Just heard 'Crush'. Sorry guys....I'm disapointed.
I'd heard all the stories about BJ getting back to the glory of the old days,
but there aren't enough BIG rock tunes here.
Only a couple of stadium rocking guitar riffs...and TOO MANY BALLADS again!!!
Don't get me wrong, knowone does it better live, but the boys haven't got another
'Slippery When wet' on their hands, which is what I'd heard it was going to be.
Next 100 Years is superb....and there are other good tunes here,
but the album is sadly lacking the guitar heroics we know Richie is capable of.
It will grow on me, but that's not what I wanted. I wanted it to take my head of on the first listen.
I needed another 'Homebound train' or 'Bad medicine' and although
'It's my Life' flys the flag for the Bon Jovi of old, songs of that style are still few and far between on this record.
If this was a school report...it would read....'Shows promise...please try HARDER'

They are one half of one of the greatest Rock bands of our time.
Will you please welcome Richie Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi
(Applause) JV: Excellent to have you back on the show
Richie: Thank you very much
JV: This is the first band album in five years
Jon: That is true
JV: Is it strange to be back in the band situation?
Jon & Richie: Got to get the band back together, got to get the band back together man
Jon: No, no man, It’s time to go to work
JV: Time to go to work. Was there ever a lengthy period of time when you hadent spoken,
lost contact with members of the band, you kept in touch?
Jon: No we where constantly in touch
Richie: Ah, you know we just take brakes to do your individual projects and Jon does movies.
It keeps us interesting. But when were back together it’s nice and fresh
JV: But when the bands all together as a unit ? does it feel so right it cant be wrong!?
Jon: Shake your booty there Johnny you’ve got it!
JV: Does it feel like this was how it was meant to be, guys when your jamming and the hair is going
Richie: Yeah, yeah it does feel like that. It’s very comfortable, this is a good record.
JV: It’s comfortable. But Rock comfortable
Jon: It’s rock
JV: Now your new single is called ‘It’s My Life’, um were going to have a quick look
and a clip from the new video and then Gail is going to ask you some quite probing musical questions
Jon: She’s going to probe us?
JV: Deeper than I am

No we just write songs, the rest is one Big Breakfast show.
JV: One Big Breakfast show ? right answer, right time.
GP: What sort of crowds are you expecting when you go on tour? Because you’ve been
on the go for so long, do you expect some of your older fans or are you hoping to get a new fan base?
Jon: Were playing a couple of nights at Wembley again around the 20’th of August.
GP: 20th of August?
JV: I hate to say, I think there knocking it down on the 15th!
Jon: Jesus!
JV: I’m not being funny they are knocking it down.
Jon: Then we’ll play the parking lot. Tickets are on sale!
JV: You’ll be the last band to play Wembley
Jon: We are. I think so, yeah
JV: You are? History will say it was your fault
Jon: Right we knocked it down!!!
JV: They’ll say when Bon Jovi played there they knocked it down!!!
(laughs)
JV: Now your lives have slowed down in the last few years it says on the card here. I don’t know about that.
Do you ever wish you could return to the excesses of the 80’s?
And when you decided to put the band back together and go on tour is that like,
I suppose in England we have stag nights, over there you call them bachelor parties.
Is that what like a tour is , a very long bachelor party?
Jon: Every Night
Richie: Every Night
Jon: We need airplane flights to sleep!
JV: Does it wear you down a bit after a while? Do you think I just cant take this
rock and roll any longer when your on the road?
Jon: You know ? it’s a good life Johnny. You should come out sometime!
JV: You know I’ll just drop the cards and I’m off cause any man who says
that they don’t want to go on tour with a rock and roll band…
Jon: Your crazy or dead
JV: No is just a liar.
Jon: Or the wife really has them by the you know.
JV: Your right it’s a good escape from intimacy
(laughs)
GP: There is a link between rock stars and very glamorous women.
Is it something in your genes so to speak?
(big laughs)
(Jon and Richie stand up to show there jeans)
GP: Yep it’s definitely in the jeans
(Both sit down)
Richie: It’s leg lumber
JV: Is it something in your jeans or are you just glad to see her?
Jon: Excuse me while I work this thing out
(Banging his foot on the floor several times)
(Big laughs)
Jon: Continue please
JV: It’s all right its in his jeans, better in than out. (pause)
Is it something in your genes do you think guys?
Jon: hu, Yeah
Richie: Yeah
JV: Both of you have worked on your own projects, your question.
GP: So come on
Richie: OK!!!!!
(laughs)
GP: Huh right. You’ve both worked on solo projects, is there some inter-competition between you?
JV: I bet there is!
Jon: No actually, last time Richie was on this show, I was sitting in a hotel room here in town
working on some stuff and I went to the Sheppards Bush Empire and I went and played with him
and he came to my shoe in L.A.
JV: So you where watching in a hotel room?
Jon: Yeah sitting in bed like this drinking coffee
JV: We have never had a morning with so many abusive faxes towards Richie. It was you wasent it.
Jon: Yeah. It was me. I admit it
JV: To John: you’ve got a new film coming out called U-571 we’ve had a lot of hype about this.
Is it true you get cut out of the film halfway through for censorship reasons?
Jon: Well my death gets cut out, the way it was cut down ‘cause it was to gory
(Makes slashing motion across the throat)
JV: Really the old head off?
Richie: That’s really cool though
JV: Yeah it is, really cool
Richie: If I could be a movie star!
JV: You’d love that wouldent you Richie : Gory death scene!
Richie: Just put me in for that I just want to die on film.
Jon: I die a gory death.
JV: Are you pleased with the film over all?
Jon: Mmm yeah, I loved the movie and it’s really successful and I hope the English navy
has forgiven us for fictionalising this, FICTION, because part of it is about recovering the Enigma
JV: Oh the Enigma machine, the coding thing
Jon: Right and what happens to the sailors on the way back. So it’s a great movie.
JV: Where is Bon Jovi the band going from here? I’ve got down as a question for Richie.
Richie: Where is the band going from here? Uh Rome!
Jon: Yeah next stop!
Richie: No actually were going to do a tour. We start in Japan in July. Then we’ll be here in
Wembley Stadium on the 18th and 19th
Jon: I think it’s the 19th and 20th, something like that.
Richie: 19th and 20th and we’ll do a European tour and continue around the world for the next year
and we’ll probably be back in Europe next summer.
JV: Which bands at the moment really carry the spirit of rock and roll? Who do you look up to?
Jon: The Stones
JV: The STONES
Richie: Yeah it seems there are less and les rock and roll bands out there, it seems the fans are just,
you know the same fans that go and see the Machiavel shows, go and see Springsten , go see Bon Jovi,
go and see the Eagles and go and see the Stones. So the community is getting smaller
but our Enigma is getting bigger.
JV: Ah, Yeah
Richie: It’s true, i’ts really true you know.
JV: Now Richie , Jon your hanging around for the rest of the show I understand
Jon: Absolutely

Alec John Such, former bass player for BON JOVI, is holding an Estate Auction
this Saturday, MAY 20th at his Colts Neck, NJ home. Among the items up for
auction are more than 100 Platinum/Gold albums, more than 50 vintage guitars,
a slew of amplifiers, Bon Jovi memorabilia and stage clothes which have
toured all over the world. He is also auctioning off antiques, oriental rugs,
signed art, sculptures, chandeliers, cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles...
The advance preview is Friday, May 19th from noon-8pm at Alec's home (which
is also up for auction via silent bids) at 29 Laird Road, Colts Neck, NJ. On
the actual Auction Date, inspection/preview begins at the home at 8am. The

This news is for the people who live in Kansai area. You can get Bon Jovi's Osaka dorm concert tickets on 24th of May (wed.) on Kiss FM Kobe from 8:00 PM. You have to listen to a program which starts from 8o'clock to get more information. They will give you phone numbers where to call. Good luck!

OH MY GOOD GOD!!
You guys won't believe what had just happened tonight.
I was, let's just say, "GUINESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORD"
lucky to get the invitaion for the secret event of BON
JOVI that was held today, May 16, 2000, at Four Season's
Hotel Mejiro, Tokyo where they are presently staying.
Lucky in a sense that only 400 people ( including ME! )
were chosen among 5000 who applied. Supposedly, it would
have started at 7 PM but the people there were in panic
so it started around 8 PM, but it was worth waiting!!
I want you guys to imagine a small press conference coz
it happened exactly like that, in a room small enough to
hear them talk without a microphone, in a room small
enough to smell them!! WHEW!!
The event begun by showing us a discography of the band
in a big screen. And that includes their comments regarding
the making of the new album crush and last but not the least,
the coolest promotion video of "It's my Life" that made my
whole body shake!!
And for the main event, here came the band, ready to crush
the country. Jon was wearing an orange leather jacket, cool
as usual. Richie in black leather jacket, really fond of
making jokes as usual. Tico in black shirt, with his fav
sunglasses, in his usual husky voice. David in black tee,
in blue sunglasses. Hugh in all black.
They began by speaking one by one and Jon and Richie always
make fun everytime the other co-members talk. We had to wait
for a minute of photo shooting by the press and for some video
coverage. After that they took a sit, a long table with hundreds
of cds on top of it. We were all having a sit too and finally,
the staff asked us to fall in line, move up to the stage, shake
each of their hands, and hand over the cd personally. Before i
went up the stage, i got lots of things on my mind but when i got
up there, right in front of them, every thoughts flew away. But thanks
to Richie. He helped me bring my senses back when he asked
the question "How are yah??" These 3 simple words i didn't
imagine that would come from him. And i thought, "Thank Good
God I wasn't dreaming!! By the way, I got the disc personally
from Jon but the only thing that came out of my mouth was
" I'm sooooooooooo glad to see you!!" and he smiled back.
David, cute and jolly, said "Thanks!" after i said "Thanks!"
Tico was so nice when he answered me back after i said,
"Hope you'll be back soon!" He replied by saying " Yeah,
we'll be back in July" with his right thumb up!! And i did
the same thing. Really COOL!!
This is the best shot that i can give all of you, the complete
details that had happened tonight as far as i can remember.
I'm not so sure though if i will be able to sleep and end this
heat i am feeling right now. I was about to give up thinking that
i won't be lucky enough to be chosen but believe me, It was worth
trying!!
Really! Thank you so so much Jon, Richie, David, Tico and Hugh
for this dream come true. And Himawari for helping this dream
possible to happen.

We've already announced that BON JOVI will be performing on THE LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN on TUESDAY, JUNE13th in NEW YORK CITY... but it is now confirmed and ready to be announced to you that (just like in 1995...) BON JOVI will be CLOSING DOWN WEST 53rd STREET to PERFORM OUTSIDE!!! If you're in the area, head on over and catch a glimpse!

I saw them! I listened to them live! I went to Pop Jam (NHK) for the shooting. They sang "Next 100 Years" first and "You Give Love a Bad Name" with other Japanese artists and, of course, "It's my Life" at the end. It was great! I'm not sure about the OA date, but probably in two weeks, because they did shooting for two rounds and Bon Jovi was in the second round.

I´VE LISTENED TO CRUSH AND...WELL, THEY HAVE DO IT AGAIN, I MEAN , THE HAVE RELEASED A NEW ALBUM FULL OF BALLADS, AN ALBUM THAT DOESNT REMIND AT ALL TO THE BAND THAT MADE SLYPPERY AND NEW JERSEY. Can anybody tell me where is the song Temptation? the songlist on the cd is different from the one that's written on the cover: cd 1 contains the title track +hush +lose at love; cd 2 contains I don't want to live forever +hush & lose at love instead of "temptation"...
